  1. I know Trumpet talks about Jazz but since blues and Jazz are siblings pretty much I came across this podcast that tracks the history of black lesbian women in blues music wayyyy back in the day. I thought it definitely related to Trumpet and it’s a really cool history that I’ve never known until listening.

    Hope all is well,

  2. Literally could not find an article (or movie…or book….) on Billy Tipton that wasn’t super transphobic, so here’s a link to one of the Billy Tipton Trio’s songs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3JAAxFYEws It’s weirdly funny to me that the person who posted this video was like “While the circumstances of Billy’s life may have overshadowed his music, this is still tasty”
